REFACING


Refacing your old cabinets is good alternative if your exiting cabinets are structurally sound. Many people choose this method after installing new countertops over their exiting cabinets. The new countertops just installed make the old cabinets look even more dated and tired.

In the refacing process all the doors, drawers and hardware are removed and then a wood veneer or a laminate is applied over the old cabinet boxes. Your new doors and drawers are now installed. Your door and color choices are enormous which you can see in our showroom. We can also add cabinets to match, modify oven cabinets to fit new appliances or add roll out shelves. All of our new doors and drawers come with a catalyzed varnish which the best finish available

This method has a few advantages over refinishing. In refinishing your cabinets you can’t change wood species and the refinishing of the cabinet boxes are done in your house.

REFINISHING


Refinishing your old cabinets involves removing all your old doors and drawers and sanding down your cabinet boxes. At this time any repairs are done and then a stain chosen by you is applied. A lacquer top coat is applied their after. All new door and drawer fronts have a conversion varnish which is applied at our shop.

We can add new cabinets, roll out shelves or modify exiting cabinets.
