Our Designer's & Partner's

Mike Loomis, Designer

From the time we were 9 years old, my brother Joe and I would work for our father in the summer. When I got older, I started working for other cabinet shops. In 1980, my brother and I took over our father’s small shop and started making custom cabinets. We went our separate ways in1984 and in 985 I started doing subdivision work.  By 1990, my brother and I dominated the production cabinet market. Then, in 1996, I transitioned to semi-custom cabinets but for additional story information, visit our website.

Proudly, the Loomis family has been in the cabinet business for over 45 years.  When we transitioned from manufacturing cabinets in the Sacramento area to the sales of semi-custom kitchen & bathroom cabinetry in 1996, our customer base not only increased, we kept a close watch on our quality.

Throughout the years, Loomis Cabinet Sales has successfully served the greater Sacramento area, building and maintaining a reputation of offering quality products, prompt turnaround and personalized service—all at affordable pricing. The staff behind Loomis Cabinet Sales put their knowledge and expertise of the kitchen and bathroom cabinet business to good use.  Our customers are important to us and we thrive on helping them achieve the best kitchens and bathrooms they can dream of.

"In the Winter of 2000 after several years of slinging coffee, looking for a new adventure, I went to work for "The Big Orange Box" and helped open their Stanford Ranch store in Roseville, California. Not long after, I found myself working in the Kitchen & Bath Design department on a fluke. Under the supervision of two people who had spent the better part of their careers in the business; I was trained, polished and made to appreciate each job and customer no matter the size of the project. Along with cabinetry, I gained vast knowledge of installation & construction, countertops, fixtures & appliances. Four stores, selling to builders through corporate, one high end custom furniture cabinet maker and running the Rocklin showroom for Loomis Cabinet Sales, I have now turned my focus to providing consulting services. The best part about working from a private office is the attention I am now able to give clients without the normal interruptions of a working showroom. By providing one on one service, I am able to better understand your needs and in turn help make sure you are purchasing the right product for your project and budget. I am happy to provide an initial phone consultation followed by a visit to your home to take the appropriate measurements and get a feel for the space. After an initial design has been completed based off your needs, I will meet with you at either of the convenient Loomis Cabinet Sales showrooms to go over the design as well as view the hundreds of Door Style and Finish combinations available. I look forward to helping your dreams become reality!"

The kitchen is the heart and lifeline of every home. It brings families together and is the place we all congregate. Coming from a large family, and loving to cook it seems an only obvious that my passion is designing kitchens. I began designing in 2003, and was like a duck to water. I grew up in my dad's cabinet shop, playing in sawdust and collecting scrap wood. Under his wing I have learned so much about cabinetry, wood species, and designing. In 2005, I designed our Rancho Cordova showroom, and office. Over the years I have designed many types and styles of kitchens, bathrooms, dinning rooms, etc. I really love to help customers choose the right cabinetry, down to which flooring will make it pop. Whatever your choice, together we will make it beautiful. Visiting the job site is fun, especially to see the final product. The ultimate goal of all is that my customers are happy and love their home.

Monika Galcekova, Designer

I have been working in the industry for the past 2 years. While acquiring an AA degree in Interior Design,

I realized that my passion lies in working on kitchen and bath design.

I’ve worked on number of projects that included both, remodeling and new construction. My satisfaction comes from working with customers and helping them to create an environment that is both functional and esthetic by combining my skills with their ideas.
