As you shop for your new cabinetry ask yourself a few questions as you speak to dealers:1. Do they provide a large showroom so I may touch and feel the cabinetry in its final, installed state?2. What warranties are offered and how can they be utilized ten years from now?3. Do they provide current references of customers that they have worked with?4. How long have they been in business? 5. What are their construction options?6. What type of hardware for hinges and drawer guides are used?7. Do I have upgrade options on drawers or hinges?8. Are my standard shelves adjustable?9. Are the doors solid wood or veneer?10. Are the nail holes visible on the face frames or hidden?11. Are the door center panels loose, ¼” material or secured, reverse raised panel?12. Are the drawer boxes on side mount glides and stapled together or Undermount Guides with Dovetailed Sides?13. What is their finish process?14. Where do the raw materials come from?15. How much of the cabinet box, doors and drawers are made by the factory?16. Are you provided with perspective pictures that you have gone through with the designer to ensure that your needs are being met with the accessories inside the cabinetry?17. Were they willing to provide a complimentary in home measure and initial design?18. Do they provide door samples that can be checked out so I may see them in my home?19. Are the designers readily available throughout the design, ordering and installation process to ensure all my needs are met?20.
